"Veronica is an enthusiastic teacher with a wonderful sense of humour. Her classes are varied and creative, which help you learn. She is also good at recognizing your ability and encouraging you while not pushing too hard".

"Veronica's classes are enlightening, interesting, and entertaining. I particularly like her real life examples, such as the birthday party where we order food and beverages from her simulated restaurant. I look forward to future classes."

" I love how you master making learning Spanish fun and the curriculum flow is really effective and helpful ... The course and classes are very organized. You have your great ways of engaging all students, (shy and intimidated ), in learning activities. The way you combine the language with Latin culture facts, definitely enabled me to relate to the language much better and maintain my interest and motivation as strong as the first day I entered your class about 9 months ago ....., I have and will recommend you as a make happen Spanish language tutor to every one !"
Sepideh S. Spanish 3 + Conversation class, 2013
"I can highly recommend Veronica Webster as a Spanish teacher or tutor without any hesitation whatsoever. Veronica was my private tutor for approximately 8 months and in that time I managed to go from being an absolute beginner to having a great deal of confidence and ease with the language. As she knew that I was planning a trip to South America, she carefully prepared me for the language issues that I would likely deal with while travelling so I was able to cope with being immersed in Spanish throughout my holiday. Veronica is certainly highly experienced with all levels of learners so she is able to cater her lessons to my own ability, interests and needs. Her lessons were always engaging, challenging, and lots of fun as well! "
Mary Yan Former student, 2012
"I would recommend Veronica to anyone wanting to get started and or improve their ability to speak Spanish. It takes more than just being a native speaker to help you learn a language, you need caring, dedication and the ability to understand your needs to get you to your individual goal. This is what I get from Veronica."
Patrick Martinez Former student 2014
"Veronica has volunteered at South Burnaby Neighbourhood House as an Office Assistant and occasional ESL teacher for two years. She has many exceptional qualities. She is intelligent, hard-working, and reliable. She is also very kind and personable and a lot of fun to have around. Our ESL program here is run by volunteers so, unfortunately, is not suitable as a practicum place for a student. I would gladly hire her if we only had a suitable position.
I myself have been studying Spanish for the past two years and Veronica is by far my favourite tutor. Of my Spanish speaking volunteers, she is the one that I feel the most relaxed with. I look forward to talking Spanish with her on Mondays when she volunteers. She is very patient, helpful and understanding. Her background as a teacher really shines through.
Veronica is a really outstanding volunteer. I wish her much luck in her career pursuits."
